3 Key Moments
Week 8 at Packers
If the Jaguars aspire to reach elite status in the AFC, they must find a way to win games against some of the NFL's heavyweights on the road. Green Bay certainly offers a stern test with a high-powered offense that thrives at Lambeau Field.
Week 11 at Texans
The Jaguars certainly have the pieces in place to field a championship-caliber defense, but the jury is out on whether a Blaine Gabbert-led offense can generate enough points to compete with the AFC's top teams. This matchup will provide the second-year player with an opportunity to shine in a high-stakes game.
Week 14 vs. Jets
It is not often a backup garners more attention than both starters, but the Tim Tebow effect will make this a big deal. Tebow reportedly bypassed an opportunity to become a hometown hero in favor of joining the Jets. If he performs well as the Jets' "Wildcat" QB, the pressure will increase on the Jaguars' brass.
