FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who has called the plays for the team's record-setting offense, isn't interested in any of the NFL's available head coaching jobs.

"I am very grateful for the chance to interview for NFL head coaching positions, but I have decided not to pursue those opportunities at this time," McDaniels, 31, said in a statement Thursday. "I plan to focus all my attention on our postseason preparation."

Atlanta, Baltimore and Miami are currently searching for new head coaches.

McDaniels was the mastermind of the Patriots offense that set a league single-season record of 589 points, behind Tom Brady, who threw a record 50 touchdown passes, and Randy Moss, who had a record 23 TD receptions.
