David Carr

David Carr joined NFL Media as an analyst in October 2015. He appears regularly on NFL Network's "Around The NFL," "NFL HQ" and "NFL Total Access," as well as NFL Now.

In 2002, Carr became the first player selected by the expansion Houston Texans when he was taken with the No. 1 overall pick out of Fresno State. Carr was the quarterback for the Texans for five seasons and then continued his career playing with the Carolina Panthers (2007), New York Giants (2008-09 and 2011-12) and San Francisco 49ers (2010). A Super Bowl champion as a member of the Giants, Carr played 12 seasons in the NFL before retiring in 2013.
