For users inquiring about our fantasy games, please follow the directions below:

Login to your team or league, then click on "Help" from the area that you require assistance (Ex: Standings, Rosters, Transactions, etc.). Initially, you will be presented answers related to the page from which you accessed the Help Center. You may refine your search of the knowledge base by entering your exact question in the "Search Text" box. Should our Knowledgebase not have the answers that you require, you can contact us directly by clicking the "Ask a Question" button at the top of the Help Center. Then, submit your question using the form provided.

Following this procedure helps us identify you, your team and/or your league. It also provides us with valuable diagnostic information that enables us to more efficiently serve your specific computer's configuration.

To eliminate this problem, you may use the MAIL CENTER, which is the best place to manage all correspondence with our support department. Where can I purchase tickets to NFL games?

Tickets for all 32 NFL teams can be purchased by visiting our Tickets page. You can click on the team links to buy tickets online or call the team ticket offices at the numbers listed.

How can I buy Super Bowl tickets?

The only method the NFL has to distribute tickets to the public is through a random drawing. There is no other way for the general public to purchase tickets. The NFL does not sell tickets to travel or ticket agents.

Entries for the random drawing are accepted between Feb. 1 and June 1 of the year preceding the game in question. All ticket requests must be sent via certified or registered mail. Those selected in the random drawing will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets.

Requests for Super Bowl XLII, to be played Feb. 3, 2008 in Glendale, Ariz., will be accepted beginning Feb. 1, 2007. They should be sent to:

Please note that only one request per address is accepted. All duplicate requests will be disregarded.

What does the green dot on the back of the quarterback's helmet mean?

The green dot signifies a helmet with a communication device for receiving plays from the sideline. Only quarterbacks may wear them, and only one player with such a helmet may be on the field at a given time. A backup quarterback entering the game while the starting quarterback remains on the field must wear an alternate helmet without a radio device.

Where can I find an explanation of the NFL quarterback rating formula?

The NFL rates its passers for statistical purposes against a fixed performance standard based on statistical achievements. All the criteria and the formula for figuring out a quarterback's rating are collected on the NFL quarterback rating formula page.

How do I figure out the NFL's tie-breaking procedures for playoffs and regular-season schedules?

The official procedures used to break standings ties for postseason playoffs and to determine regular-season schedules are listed on the NFL tie-breaking procedures page.

How do I find stats for my favorite players?

For a particular player, you can check his player page. That can be found via either the Players Index or the team's roster or depth chart.

Where can I find official NFL records and rules?

There is an Official NFL Record and Fact Book area linked from the "Inside the Numbers" section of the History Index. The Record and Fact Book is divided into three sections — Records, History and Rules. The Record Section is divided into Individual, Defensive and Team records. All the official NFL rules are located on the Digest of Rules Page within the section. The Record and Fact Book is produced by the Publishing Group of the National Football League and is available in bookstores everywhere.

How do I find audio and video clips from games?

Multimedia clips can be found in a variety of places on the site, including the NFL Films Index, team theaters, team pages, game recaps and inside stories.

For a compilation of all the game highlights from a given week, check the Multimedia archive. The current week's clips will be found there, as will past clips.

For clips from a specific team, you are best served looking on that team's theater page. It can be found in the top navigation of that team's index page or from the top of the NFL Films Index in the pull-down menu. Clips are arranged by week and/or game in the team theater.

Where do I look to see if my team will be on television or the radio?

Check out the weekly schedule which lists every game and the broadcast partner assigned to televise a particular matchup.

Where can I find information of the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

There is a direct link to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's web site in the scroll box in the left navigation of every page on the site.

Are statistics in the Gamebooks official?

No. Gamebooks are prepared on site at each game using data available immediately following the completion of a game. They are intended to provide a snapshot of the game's action and are not updated after stats are made official on Monday mornings. Please note that scoring decisions made on game days are reviewed and frequently adjusted before becoming official. See the Stats section of the site or a player's player page to find official statistics.

How can I become an NFL official?
Here are the basic requirements necessary to qualify as an official in the National Football League:
  • We expect our candidates to have a minimum of 10 years of experience in officiating football, at least five of which have been on a varsity collegiate or other minor professional level.
  • Our candidates must be in excellent physical condition and belong to an accredited football officials association or have previous experience in football as a player or coach.
  • Each applicant is requested to furnish us with a detailed copy of his or her your collegiate officiating schedule for the past three seasons, listing dates, schools, location of games, and positions worked.
