Colin Kaepernick vows to train with Niners mates soon

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refuses to rest on his laurels after accounting for 364 of his team's 468 total net yards in Super Bowl XLVII.

Hours after blaming himself for making too many mistakes in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Kaepernick packed up his locker and vowed to start training with teammates in Atlanta by next week.

Although Kaepernick nearly rallied his team back from a 22-point deficit in the Super Bowl, he insists he will only remember his breakout season "as not being good enough."

His single-minded devotion to improvement has to leave 49ers fans giddy in an era where the "pistol" formation is one of the greatest tactical advantages of recent memory.

If Kaepernick's work ethic and competitive drive match his arm talent and dynamic athleticism, the sky is the limit for his NFL career. ESPN game analyst Ron Jaworski believes Kaepernick has the ability to be the best quarterback in the league. SiriusXM NFL Radio's Ross Tucker echoed that sentiment Monday, stating that there's no quarterback he would rather have for the next 10 years.
