Darnell Dockett unsure about Arizona Cardinals future

Things have fallen apart between Darnell Dockett and the Arizona Cardinals. The defensive lineman was recently fined $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team after he argued with teammate Kerry Rhodes and defensive coordinator Roy Horton during a loss to the New York Jets. Dockett later said he would continue to play hard for Horton and his fellow defensive lineman, but gave a "no comment" when asked about head coach Ken Whisenhunt.

Harrison: Week 15 predictions

It's hard to imagine a more enticing slate of games than the Week 15 lineup. Elliot Harrison provides his pick in each contest. **More ...**

Dockett was asked about the fine during an interview on XTRA 910 in Phoenix, reported Sportsradiointerviews.com.

"It was shocking. 'Man did it come to this?'" Dockett said. "I guess they felt that's what they had to do or whatever. I felt that it was unfair, I spoke on it, I felt it was out of my hands and I'm not really worried about it. I have a process going on."

Dockett is in the middle of a six-year, $56-million contract signed in 2010, but he doesn't know what his future with the team will be.

"I have no idea," Dockett said. "First of all I'm very thankful that the Arizona Cardinals have given me opportunities. ... If I'm not wanted somewhere then I will be happy somewhere else or however that situation may go down. To all the Cardinals fans, this was not my idea of me being traded or people thinking I might be traded and I came up with this or I said this. I never said that, but at the end of the day I'm never going to be anywhere I'm not wanted or I'm not going to be somewhere I'm treated unfairly."

Dockett said he hasn't spoken to Whisenhunt, adding maybe they'll have a conversation after the season.

The season just needs to end as soon as possible for the Cardinals. The front office has some major decisions to make on Whisenhunt, Dockett and the rest of its subpar roster.
