Ryan Tannehill to start for Miami Dolphins in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS -- Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill likely will start Sunday, NFL.com and NFL Network's Albert Breer said on "First on the Field."

Tannehill was forced to leave last week's win over the New York Jets with a left knee injury and is listed as questionable. He will dress against the Indianapolis Colts, though, and pain tolerance is the major issue. Many have anticipated the rookie matchup between Tannehill and No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Luck.

The Dolphins have been one of the NFL's biggest surprises in 2012 with a 4-3 record. The biggest improvement has come at quarterback, where Tannehill has been better than expected.

UPDATE: Tannehill will start for the Dolphins, according to Breer.
