The Detroit Lions have a flair for the dramatic. Yeah, that's what we'll call it.
The Lions needed a 16-play, 80-yard drive to upset the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. Titus Young caught a 1-yard slant from Matthew Stafford with 20 seconds left in regulation for the victory.

Stafford, who threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns in this game, actually resembled the guy who threw for 5,000 yards and 41 touchdowns in 2011. He threw his first first-half TD pass of the season and just looked like himself. The accuracy issues were gone, for the most part. He didn't force balls and would've had better numbers had Calvin Johnson not dropped three passes.
The Seahawks (4-3) began the day with the No. 3 scoring defense in the NFL. They had handled the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers, but the Lions didn't flinch despite trailing in the fourth quarter -- again.
The Lions obviously had much more to play for in this game. They are 3-4, and a loss would have buried them in the NFC North. It was a back-against-the-wall game at home against a decided favorite.
Detroit certainly had its issues with penalties and drops, but the final score is what mattered for the Honolulu Blue. They easily could sit at .500 with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
