Michael Vick's fumble problems continue for Eagles

The fumbles keep coming for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. He has no explanation.

Vick lost another fumble near the goal-line Sunday, this time during a 16-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He now has six interceptions and five lost fumbles in five games this season. Four have come in the red zone. Two fumbles within the 3-yard line.

will re-air the Pittsburgh Steelers' 16-14 win over the Philadelphia  Eagles from Week 5 on Wednesday, October 10 at 9 p.m. ET.

"I wish I could tell you, but I don't have any explanation," Vick said, as reported by Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. "I wish I could take back the fumble on the goal line, but I can't. Ultimately, we put ourselves in a position to win this game, but we didn't win. That's how it goes in the NFL.

"You wish you could have some things back and there are plenty of things I wish I could have back through the course of the season, but you can't get them."

Despite the loss and the turnover situation, the Eagles are tied with the New York Giants atop the NFC East.

Does anything run smooth in Philly, though? Every week there seems to be drama over some odd occurrence, whether it's clock management, icing kickers or a variety of things involving Vick. It's hard to believe a team with this talent ranks No. 31 in scoring offense (16 points per game). Four of the five Eagles games have been decided by a combined seven points.

It's hard to put points on the board when you give away the ball.
