Agent says Donald Driver has deal in place to return to Packers

Wide receiver Donald Driver has agreed to terms on a new deal to return to the Green Bay Packers for a 14th season, his agent Jordan Woy confirmed Wednesday to NFL Network and NFL.com reporter Albert Breer.

"I'm reviewing the contract today," Woy told Breer. "Donald is excited about the upcoming season with the Packers."

In a post on his Twitter account Tuesday night, Driver said, "When I said I will be a Packer for life. It is now true. Packer for life."

Driver has a year left on his contract, but his return to the team was not considered likely unless he restructured his deal.

A league source told ESPNMilwaukee.com's Jason Wilde that Driver is expected to attend the Packers' workouts on Wednesday.

Driver is the team's all-time leader with 735 catches for 10,060 yards. He said after the Packers' playoff loss to the New York Giants that he wasn't sure if the team would bring him back.

Driver won ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" last week.
