Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver already has a Super Bowl victory on his résumé; now the veteran can add "reality show champion" to his list of accomplishments.
Driver and partner Peta Murgatroyd won the television dance competition "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday after earning perfect 10s for their final Cha-cha-cha dance.
"We're going to bring the mirrorball back to where we feel it always started -- in Titletown," Driver said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" after his win.
Driver made it to Tuesday night's two-hour finale along with two other celebrities: William Levy and Katherine Jenkins, who also earned perfect scores on their last performances. The 13-year NFL veteran had to wait to the end to learn whether he'd earned enough viewer votes, which were combined with judges' scores, to win.
While he was waiting, the show aired taped messages of encouragement from Driver's supporters, including Packers coach Mike McCarthy, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and linebacker Clay Matthews, who urged Driver to bring the show's "Mirrorball Trophy" to Titletown.
Driver's agent, Jordan Woy, tweeted his congratulations to the player shortly after the show aired.
"Congrats to Donald Driver winning DWTS!! Now it is time to get ready for another season with the Packers!" Woy wrote.
Driver joins Emmitt Smith and Hines Ward as NFL players who have won the competition, which has also featured former players Jerry Rice and Warren Sapp as competitors.
Both Driver and his agent have stated their desire to see him stay with the Packers.
Driver joked that he was "done with dancing," but perhaps not before adding a signature move to his repertoire.
Peta's going to teach me a touchdown dance and it's going to be my signature touchdown dance this season," Driver said.
