Detroit Lions sign wide receiver Ryan Broyles

Terms of Broyles' four-year deal were not announced.

The team also is in talks with first-round pick, Riley Reiff, according to the Detroit Free Press).

Broyles, who started at Oklahoma, tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a game against Texas A&M late last season, and might begin his NFL career on the physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list.

The Lions have also signed fifth-round pick Tahir Whitehead. Fourth-round pick Ronnell Lewis will sign his contract Thursday, his agent, Kelli Masters, told the Detroit Free Press. The newspaper also reported that the other of the team's fifth-round picks, Chris Greenwood, and sixth-round pick Jonte Green are expected to be under contract by Friday, when the the team's rookie minicamp begins. Additionally, the team has agreed to terms with seventh-rounder Travis Lewis.

According to Scout.com, the Lions have $4.83 million to divide among their eight rookies this year. The total of those deals are not allowed to exceed $26.61 million.
