Broncos select Brock Osweiler in NFL draft's second round

The Denver Broncos selected Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler with the 57th overall pick in the NFL draft on Friday.

Osweiler will provide the Broncos their long sought-after backup quarterback to Peyton Manning.

Osweiler threw for 4,036 yards and 26 touchdowns last season with the Sun Devils. He is the fifth quarterback drafted.
