Dallas Cowboys unlikely to trade Mike Jenkins on Friday

IRVING, Texas -- The odds of the Dallas Cowboys moving cornerback Mike Jenkins on Friday are dwindling, according to a team source.

The Cowboys haven't been able to get the value they want from a potential trade for the four-year NFL veteran.

Teams that have inquired about Jenkins have asked for draft picks, which the Cowboys are reluctant to give up.

Jenkins started 12 games last season, recording 24 tackles and one interception. But the Cowboyshave been shopping him since signing former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Brandon Carr in the offseason and drafting LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne on Thursday.
