Redskins' Mike Shanahan: Taking RG3 is nearly a sure thing

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan strongly implied that the team will take Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick in the NFL draft.

"Nothing's a 100 percent yet, so I've got to say 99.9 (percent)" Shanahan said about selecting Griffin at a pre-draft news conference Wednesday.

"If you guys are right, we're taking RG3," Shanahan said, joking with reporters.
