Baltimore Ravens officials want left tackle Bryant McKinnie to be a bit faster and more lithe than he was this past season, the Baltimore Sun reported Monday.

The officials met with McKinnie a few weeks ago, according to the newspaper, and coach John Harbaugh told the Sun at the NFL Annual Meeting last week that McKinnie is currently in the "same shape he was when he left."
The Ravens' website lists the 32-year-old McKinnie at 360 pounds.
McKinnie joined the Ravens after he was released by the Minnesota Vikings in August 2011. Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield said that the team parted ways with McKinnie because he was overweight and not in shape at training camp.
The Ravens' offensive line currently is undergoing some turnover, with Pro Bowl guard Ben Grubbs recently leaving to sign with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent.
Second-year tackle Jah Reid told the team's official website Monday that he's ready to take Grubbs' place if called upon.
Reid's college and pro experience has been at the tackle position, according to the Ravens' website, but he is undaunted by the prospect of switching to guard.
"It's different, but I see it as football," he said. "It's my job to perform at either one and be versatile and be able to move positions because you never know. Even if I do play left guard, something could happen where I need to play right tackle and I have to be ready at any position."
