Could Jets make 'Hard Knocks' encore this summer?

If Vegas were handing out odds on which team will appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks" this summer, the New York Jets would be taken off the board at this point.

The team was featured in the last installment of the Emmy Award-winning documentary series, which aired in five parts leading up to the start of the 2010 season.

Asked about the chances of Gang Green making another star turn, team owner Woody Johnson told the Newark Star-Ledger on Monday "we have yet to receive a formal invitation." He didn't deny informal talks, but said the team "would look at" doing the show again.

Connect the dots ... la la la la la.

Former Jets tackle Damien Woody, who's essentially become the Jets' version of Tiki Barber, believes New York should stay away.
