Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed said Thursday that he intends to return to the team for his 11th season in 2012 -- and perhaps beyond.
"There's a lot of talk out there. I'm not going to say I'm 50-50 because I'm not," Reed told the South Florida Sun Sentinel before he and Ravens tackle Bryant McKinnie were inducted into the University of Miami Hall of Fame on Thursday night. "I want to play football. But it's something me and my team have been discussing the last couple of weeks. My partners, they do a great job of making sure I know the pros and cons of what's going on with my body and with the organization and where we're at. I plan on doing it, but depending, it could change."

It was the first time the 33-year-old Reed has addressed his plans for the future since shortly after Baltimore lost a heartbreaking 23-20 nail-biter in the AFC Championship Game.
Reed leads all active NFL players with 57 career interceptions.
"If it was up to me, I'd be with a walking cane out there," Reed said. "I don't know, man. I think four to five years is a reality for me."
Reed also told the newspaper that he intended to stay with the Ravens. "Baltimore is home for me unless they say otherwise," he said.
