Jackson, whom new Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie fired last week, spent only one season as Oakland's head coach. Before that, he served as the team's offensive coordinator for one season.

The Raiders' offense ranked ninth overall in the NFL, despite not having running back Darren McFadden for most of the season because of a foot injury. Oakland also lost quarterback Jason Campbell to a broken collarbone in Week 6, leading the team to trade for Carson Palmer.

Fisher already met with former New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer over the weekend.

The Rams, who are scheduled to introduce Fisher on Tuesday, took care of their defensive coordinator position Monday, hiring Gregg Williams from the New Orleans Saints. Fisher and Williams worked together for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans from 1994 to 2000.
