Broncos' Dawkins misses another practice, doubtful vs. Chiefs

Denver Broncos safety Brian Dawkins is listed as doubtful for Sunday's pivotal matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the team's official site.

Dawkins, who has been troubled with a neck injury, didn't practice all week. The Denver Post reported that the 16-year veteran observed Friday's session but didn't participate.

David Bruton is in line to replace Dawkins in the Broncos' starting lineup. Bruton (Achilles) and Quinton Carter (lower back) were listed as probable, along with cornerback Chris Harris (neck) and linebacker Von Miller (thumb).

The Broncos must beat the Chiefs and former Denver quarterback Kyle Orton to guarantee a trip to the playoffs.
