Johnson will miss Texans' game against Panthers

The Houston Texans will be without their top wide receiver yet again, as the team ruled out Andre Johnson for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Johnson did not practice Friday. This is the second straight game the Pro Bowl receiver will miss because of a right hamstring injury, bringing his total number of games missed this season to eight.

Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter figure to have expanded roles in Johnson's absence.

The Texans also ruled out starting guard Mike Brisiel and cornerback Sherrick McManis for the Panthers game.
