Forget Andrew Luck; Dolphins are talking playoffs

Somebody's spiked the punch in Miami.

Start of November, the Dolphins were winless and desperate, asking around for Andrew Luck's phone number.

Two little wins later, they're talking playoffs. (Cue Jim Mora in 5 ... 4 ... 3 ...)

"We win 'em all and we're in playoff contention," defensive end Jared Odricktold The Palm Beach Post on Wednesday of his 2-7 team.

"We've got an opportunity to be great," said linebacker Karlos Dansby. "I went to the Super Bowl at 9-7 (with Arizona), so it can be done."

Massively tall order. Miami hasn't won nine straight since 1984, back when Dan Marino led the team to an 11-0 record before reaching Super Bowl XIX (heady early success that led to a frantic peddling of Isotoner Gloves).

Let's just worry about beating Buffalo, fellas.
