Steelers' Ward questionable to return vs. Ravens with stinger

The Pittsburgh Steelers are short two wide receivers in Sunday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Hines Ward was announced as questionable to return because of a stinger. Ward hasn't been on the field since taking a big helmet-to-helmet hit from Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis during the second quarter, a play in which he also slammed the back of his helmet against the turf. Ward left the field a bit woozy with the help of team personnel.

The NBC broadcast reported that Ward doesn't have his helmet with him as he watches the game from the sideline, a common sign he's being held out by the team.

The Steelers also announced that Arnaz Battle was questionable to return because of a hamstring injury.
