Eagles RB McCoy searching for new agent, new contract

Running back LeSean McCoy is searching for a new agent, league sources said Sunday, while he also seeks a new deal from the Philadelphia Eagles.

McCoy filed papers with the NFL Players Association this week, ending his working relationship with agent Drew Rosenhaus.

It was a tricky situation for Rosenhaus, who also represents Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson. McCoy and Jackson have out-performed their deals and are in line for big paydays (as franchise players at the least). This isn't the first time McCoy has fired Rosenhaus, so expect the agent to continue recruiting the running back.

McCoy has emerged as one of the premier running backs in the NFL, rushing for 754 yards and scoring 10 total touchdowns this season, and Philadelphia is running the ball more than in years past under coach Andy Reid. McCoy also is devastating in the passing game, making him a complete back. He's expected to immediately begin interviewing new agents.

However, Rosenhaus did add another young rising star to his huge client list, signing Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden, a 2010 first-round draft pick.
