Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow and linebacker Quincy Black returned to practice Saturday, a positive sign for their availability for Monday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Winslow, who typically sits out one day of practice to rest his ailing knee, missed consecutive days this week before being limited in Saturday's session. He's listed as probable to play against the Colts.
The Bucs listed Black, who returned to practice Saturday after sitting out Friday, as questionable with an ankle injury.
Both players will be evaluated again before Monday's game for a final decision on their status, according to the team's official website.
Meanwhile, Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney (abdominal) practiced for the second consecutive day and is one of eight Indianapolis players listed as questionable. That group includes quarterback Kerry Collins, who has been dealing with concussion-like symptoms. Curtis Painter will start for the Colts, and coach Jim Caldwell said Saturday he wasn't certain Collins would be active for the game.
"We'll kind of have to see and let it play itself out here in the next day or so," Caldwell said.
