Steelers' Starks expected to miss four weeks with ankle sprain

Pittsburgh Steelers starting left tackle Max Starks will miss four weeks with a high ankle sprain, a league source said Monday.

Starks suffered the injury during the third quarter of Sunday's 15-9 overtime victory over when an Atlanta Falcons defender fell on the lineman's right leg. Starks was replaced by fifth-year veteran Jonathan Scott.

Starks was seen in a protective boot following the game.

"I've had this happen before, so it's nothing new," Starks told the *Beaver County Times*. "Hopefully it'll heal fast and it's nothing more than a week. It could have been a lot worse and I'm glad it wasn't. I'm going to do everything they tell me to do to make sure I'm ready to go as soon as possible."
