
NFL to get increased coverage in China
The National Football League has reached an agreement with Titan Media to become the official sports media partner of the NFL in China. As part of the agreement, Titan, publisher of Titan Sports, the largest, most influential and widely-read sports newspaper in China, will increase its coverage of the NFL and American football, bringing the excitement of "America's passion" to a Chinese audience.
A total of 34 NFL players will compete for the NFL Europa League title in Yello Strom World Bowl XV in Frankfurt, Germany when the defending champion Frankfurt Galaxy face the Hamburg Sea Devils.
The first 40,000 tickets made available for the NFL's first overseas regular-season game on Oct. 28 at Wembley Stadium in London between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants sold in 90 minutes.
The American Bowl preseason game in China, originally set for Aug. 9 in Beijing between the Patriots and Seahawks, will be rescheduled.
In just 72 hours, at least 160,000 fans requested half a million tickets to the NFL's first overseas regular-season game.
The Dolphins will host the Giants at London's Wembley Stadium in the first NFL regular-season game to be played outside of North America.
