Aaron Curry is worth than hype: The Seahawks took the linebacker out of Wake Forest with the fourth overall pick in April's draft and expected him to be a huge playmaker. After a lengthy contract holdout, Curry was a step behind in his first three preseason games, but he was all over the field Thursday night. He tallied four tackles, one sack and one forced fumble against the Raiders.

The Raiders are happy the preseason is over: Last week, Oakland suffered a humiliating 45-7 home loss to New Orleans. This week, the starters played only one series, and the team appeared to lack much enthusiasm after a 45-yard touchdown run by Louis Rankin in the first quarter. The Raiders failed to score again until late in the fourth quarter.
