Game balls
Several offensive players for Washington played well, but Mike Sellers gets the game ball. The lumbering fullback caught one touchdown, ran for another and amassed 60 total yards while also freeing up Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts with several big blocks. Defensively for the Redskins, rush end Andre Carter harrassed Lions quarterback Jon Kitna for most of the game and notched a safety, two sacks and eight tackles.

Coming in with the No. 1 passing offense in the NFL, Detroit tallied just 76 net yards passing, and Kitna threw two interceptions.
