      Reed was signed to a five-year, $50 million contract extension with the Redskins on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

      Impacts: The 25-year-old tight end enjoyed a massive breakout season in 2015 87 grabs for 952 yards and his 11 touchdowns were tied with Rob Gronkowski for seventh-most in the NFL. With Reed locked in for the next five years, the Redskins will have one of the best young tight ends in the entire league at their disposal for his prime years. Reed is clearly one of quarterback Kirk Cousins' favorite targets and that figures to continue into the 2016 campaign and beyond.
