Who was the Fantasy Player of the Week? Vote on the top performers and decide who was the most valuable player!
Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers
Big Ben put up a big stat line in Week 17, throwing for 280 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-9 blowout win over the Cleveland Browns. Roethlisberger, who also rushed for 24 yards, hit Mike Wallace for a 56-yard touchdown in the first quarter and connected with Heath Miller on a 4-yard score in the second quarter. Despite the fact that he missed the first four games of the season, Roethlisberger still finished with over 3,000 passing yards.
Tim Tebow, QB, Broncos
Let the Tebow hype machine for 2011 begin! The rookie quarterback put up another great stat line in Week 17, throwing for 205 yards, rushing for 94 yards and scoring three total touchdowns against the Chargers. Tebow's scores came on passes of 14 and 6 yards and a run of 6 yards. In his three starts, he averaged a ridiculous 24.6 fantasy points on NFL.com. He'll no doubt be a highly-rated sleeper candidate in all leagues next season.
Michael Bush, RB, Raiders
Bush was the featured back for the Silver & Black against the Chiefs, as Darren McFadden was inactive due to a bum ankle. The Louisville product took full advantage of the increased role, rushing 25 times for 137 yards and one touchdown in a surprising 31-10 win. Bush, who also caught four passes for 34 yards, found the end zone on a 26-yard dash in the third quarter. He's slated to become a free agent in 2011, so his value could rise.
Arian Foster, RB, Texans
It's only fitting that Foster, the No. 1 running back in fantasy football this season, went out with a statistical bang against the Jaguars. The talented Tennessee product rushed for 180 yards and found the end zone twice in a 34-17 blowout win. His scores came on runs of 2 and 35 yards. While the Texans will get Ben Tate back in 2011, Foster should still be seen as a potential top-three pick in all fantasy drafts.
Ryan Mathews, RB, Chargers
Where was this sort of production all season? Mathews, who I thought would be the top fantasy rookie of the year in 2010, showed off his abilities with 120 yards on the ground and three touchdowns against the Broncos. The Fresno State product scored on runs of 27, 12 and 31 yards in the contest. Unfortunately, the performance didn't even benefit most fantasy owners -- only 15 percent of NFL.com leagues were still active in Week 17.
