Matt Cassel, QB, Chiefs (69.8 percent)
Cassel has quietly put up some very solid fantasy numbers over the past few weeks, including a 447-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Broncos. Sure, most of those totals came in garbage time. But in fantasy football, we like garbage time! Cassel has now thrown for multiple scores in four of his last five games, and an upcoming matchup against a weak Cardinals defense makes him an extremely viable fantasy starter once again.
Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets (32.3 percent)
Sanchez has been the definition of inconsistent this season, but it looks like his value is back on the rise. The Southern California product had a nice stat line against the Browns, recording 299 passing yards and three total touchdowns in an overtime win. With an average of 22.9 fantasy points in his last two games and a matchup against the Texans next on the schedule, Sanchez should be considered an attractive starter in Week 11.
Troy Smith, QB, 49ers (97.3 percent)
In what has been a widely unpredictable fantasy football season, Smith actually has legitimate value. The former Heisman winner went off against the Rams, throwing for 356 yards and one touchdown. Had it not been for penalties, Smith would have recorded multiple scores in the contest. In two starts for the Niners, he has averaged a very solid 18.74 fantasy points on NFL.com. It's time to consider him in leagues with 12-plus teams.
Pierre Thomas, RB, Saints (40.7 percent)
Thomas has missed most of the season with a bad ankle, but reports suggest he's getting healthier and could be back sooner than later. Based on his statistical upside, he should not be a free agent in over 40 percent of NFL leagues. So if someone in your league become frustrated and dropped him, Thomas should be one of your leading waiver wire adds. Reggie Bush (38.4 percent) is also close to a return and worth adding in all formats.
Keiland Williams, RB, Redskins (99.5 percent)
Michael Vick was the story of Monday night, but he wasn't the only player that posted a huge total in fantasy leagues. Williams was an absolute stat-sheet monster against the Eagles, posting 89 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards and three total touchdowns. With Clinton Portis (groin) still ailing and Ryan Torain at less than 100 percent due to an injured hamstring, Williams has a chance to see more than his share of the workload against the Titans.
Danny Amendola, WR, Rams (84.6 percent)
Amendola was dropped in many cases over his bye week, as he's a free agent in most NFL.com leagues. Well, "Wes Welker lite" once again showed why he's a solid option in PPR leagues and those formats that reward points for return stats. Amendola hauled in seven passes for 51 yards and scored a touchdown against the 49ers and is now on pace for an amazing 92 catches on the season. Next, he has a favorable matchup against the Falcons.
Jacoby Ford, WR, Raiders (96.0 percent)
Before the Raiders' bye week, Ford absolutely lit up the Kansas City Chiefs for six catches, 148 yards and one touchdown in a 23-20 win. With Louis Murphy and Chaz Schilens injured and Darrius Heyward-Bey drawing the opposition's No. 1 cornerback, Ford could be a sneaky sleeper down the stretch. The speedy rookie out of Clemson is worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of a potential spark at the wide receiver position.
Mike Thomas, WR, Jaguars (93.6 percent)
Thomas, another Week 10 sleeper on NFL.com, put up huge numbers in what was an exciting game against the Texans. The talented wideout caught eight passes for 149 yards and scored a game-winning touchdown as the clock expired. Thomas has now caught eight passes in two of his last four games and is coming into his own as a viable option for David Garrard in the Jaguars pass attack. He's well worth a look in all leagues with 12-plus teams.
Kevin Boss, TE, Giants (93.2 percent)
Boss had a monster game against the Cowboys, catching five passes for 81 yards with one touchdown in a surprising 33-20 loss. He has now scored a touchdown in consecutive games and should see more targets while Steve Smith is out of action. Boss next faces the Eagles, who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. If you're lacking at the position due to injuries, he's well worth a look.
Sebastian Janikowski, K, Raiders (30.6 percent)
Very rarely do I ever post a kicker in this column. But when the best player at any position is available, you should be jumping at the chance to grab him. Enter Janikowski, who was dropped in some leagues since the Raiders had a bye in Week 10. He's scored double-digit fantasy points in three of his last four games and is the unquestioned No. 1 kicker in all formats. Janikowski can undoubtedly help you win a fantasy championship.
