Schedule (Custom)

The fantasy football season works very similarly to the NFL season. You have a regular season that helps determine who makes it to the playoffs. Then, the best of the best square off in a postseason tournament that determines the overall league champion. Custom leagues can choose to use the default NFL-provided schedule for their selected league size or the LM can use the Customize League Schedule tool to fully customize the regular season schedule on a week-by-week, matchup-by-matchup basis.

Regular Season

In Custom Leagues, the League Manager can select the Regular Season to end in Week 13, 14 or 15 depending on the playoff format and the number of teams who make the postseason. As noted above, creating your league will initially generate a schedule based on the default NFL Fantasy schedule for your league size. To fully customize weekly matchups, utilize the Customize League Schedule tool.

Tie Breakers

Tie breakers for final regular season standings are as follows:

• Overall Record (Winning Percentage)
• Points Scored
• Divisional Winning Percentage (IF your custom league uses multple divisions)
• Points Scored Against (Most Difficult Schedule)
• Coin Flip

Playoffs

The NFL.com Fantasy Football Playoffs consist of two different brackets, a Championship bracket, in which the teams that made the playoffs battle for the league title, and a Consolation bracket, in which many non-playoffs teams match up to determine the remainder of the final league finish order.

In Custom leagues, the League Manager has a number of different options for Fantasy Playoffs in terms of weeks and eligible teams. For the Championship brakcet, these options are as follows:

• Week 15 and 16 (4 teams)
• Week 14, 15 and 16 (6 teams)
• Week 15, 16 and 17 (6 teams)
• Week 14, 15, 16 (8 teams)
• Week 15, 16 and 17 (8 teams)
• Week 13, 14, 15 and 16 (10 teams)
• Week 14, 15, 16 and 17 (10 teams)
• Week 13, 14, 15 and 16 (12 teams)
• Week 14, 15, 16 and 17 (12 teams)
• No Playoffs

4 Team Playoffs

First week of playoffs:

• #1 Seed vs #4 Seed
• #2 Seed vs #3 Seed

Second week of playoffs:

• Winner vs Winner = CHAMPION

6 Team Playoffs

First week of playoffs:

• #1 and #2 Seed: Bye
• Game 1: #3 Seed vs #6 Seed
• Game 2: #4 Seed vs #5 Seed

Second week of playoffs:

• Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs #2 Seed
• Game 4: Winner Game 2 vs #1 Seed

Third week of playoffs:
