Stadium: The Admirals play all of their home games at their state of the art stadium, the Amsterdam ArenA. This ultra-modern, multifunctional stadium, located in the south eastern area of Amsterdam, is the only stadium of its kind in Europe. It has a retractable roof consisting of two moving sections that can be opened and closed in less than 30 minutes. The Amsterdam ArenA will be home venue for all Admirals and A.F.C. Ajax Soccer games. The stadium also serves as the venue for concerts and other events in Holland and played host to World Bowl IX in 2001.

City/Region: Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and is often referred to as "the Venice of the North". It is a port city with an intricate canal system that originates from a dam built along the river Amstel. The city formally became known as Amsterdam in 1530. During the period between 1580 and 1720, Amsterdam became a global center of trade. This economic success triggered a highly creative period in the arts. In this time, famous works of art were produced, including Rembrandts' "Nightwatch." Amsterdam is one of Europe's greatest tourist attractions. More and more people from all over the world visit the city of flowers and diamonds.

Amateur Football: 18 Teams play in the American Football Bond Nederland (AFBN), divided over two divisions. The Tulip Bowl is the season's finale. For more information on Dutch Amateur Football please contact the Amsterdam Admirals or visit www.afbn.nl (AFLN).
