Janoris Jenkins garnering second-round interest in NFL draft

Janoris Jenkins is being hotly pursued at the top of the second round and numerous teams are looking to trade up to the start of the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft so they can take the North Alabama cornerback, team executives said Thursday night.

The Baltimore Ravens, who already traded down once from the No. 29 overall pick in the first round to the third pick in the second round (No. 35), could move back again, given the demand for Jenkins.

Jenkins has been a divisive prospect because of his off-the-field issues. The former All-American was kicked out of Florida after three arrests and testing positive for marijuana multiple times.

Three team sources told NFL Network's Albert Breer that Jenkins admitted in pre-draft interviews to having smoked marijuana while at North Alabama. Jenkins has denied that.
