Cleveland Browns trade for Minnesota Vikings' No. 3 overall pick

The Minnesota Vikings traded the No. 3 overall pick to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night for the No. 4 overall choice and three additional selections in the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Browns intend to draft Alabama running back Trent Richardson rather than Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon, sources told Fox Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer.

The Browns gave up their fourth-, fifth- and seventh-round picks (Nos. 118, 139, 211) in this year's draft.

The fourth-round pick going from the Browns to the Vikings was obtained from the Atlanta Falcons in last year's draft-day trade.

The Vikings might try to engineer another first-round trade, Glazer wrote on Twitter.
