Patriots keep adding picks

Joseph Barksdale
» Fourth-round pick (No. 125):
Taiwan Jones

Patriots receive:
» Seventh-round pick (No. 219):
Malcolm Williams
» 2012 second-round pick

Analysis: The Raiders moved up to No. 92 well before the pick was actually made. The result was the team's second lineman selected in two rounds (the other was Stefen Wisniewski). It's just another draft for the Patriots, who stockpiled more picks, now having added a first- and second-round pick for the 2012 draft.

Ravens, Eagles swap third-round picks

Ravens receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 85):
Jah Reid

Eagles receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 90):
Curtis Marsh
» Sixth-round pick (No. 191):
Jason Kelce

Analysis: A round after adding a receiver (Torrey Smith), the Ravens add another piece to the offense, this time along the line of scrimmage. Could Reid's addition mean Michael Oher makes move over to right tackle? The Eagles turned pick No. 90 into another defensive back.

Jags bulk up the line

Jaguars receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 76):
William Rackley

49ers receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 80):

» Second-round pick (No. 62):
Daniel Thomas

Redskins receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 79):
Leonard Hankerson
» Fifth-round pick (No. 146):
Dejon Gomes
» Seventh-round pick (No. 217):
Maurice Hurt

» Second-round pick (No. 60):
Brandon Harris

Patriots receive:
» Third-round pick (No. 73):
Stevan Ridley
» Fifth-round pick (No. 138):
Marcus Cannon

Analysis: The Texans had the NFL's lowest-rated passing defense in 2010 and have been extremely aggressive in rebuilding that unit. After selecting J.J. Watt and Brooks Reed to help Mario Williams with the pass rush, Houston added Harris to the back end.

Lions build up backfield

Lions receive:

Kris Durham
» Fifth-round pick (No. 154):

» Second-round pick (No. 53):
Stephen Paea

Redskins receive:
» Second-round pick (No. 62):
Traded to Dolphins
» Fourth-round pick (No. 127): Traded to Texans

Ben Ijalana

Redskins receive:
» Second-round pick (No. 53):
Traded to Bears
» Fifth-round pick (No. 152): Traded to Texans

Analysis: After selecting Anthony Castonzo in the first round, the Colts continued to aggressively shore up their offensive line by moving up four spots in Round 2 for Ijalana, who projects as a guard at the next level.

» First-round pick (No. 21):
Phil Taylor

Chiefs receive:
» First-round pick (No. 27):
Jonathan Baldwin

Analysis: The switch back to a 4-3 base defense necessitated a move on the defensive line, which the Browns pulled off with the massive Taylor, who will fill the hole left by the departed Shaun Rogers. When pick No. 27 turned into No. 26 after the Ravens took a pass, the Chiefs added a receiver to team with Dwayne Bowe. More ...
