J. Long settles in | Though he has already signed a deal with Miami, Jake Long is still doing the tour of New York with the five other prospects invited to the draft. He has described his joy at being selected No. 1 and said he is ready for the challenge. "There's a lot of pressure, there's a lot of expectations, and a lot of people that will be watching me. I'm excited for that challenge. I'm excited for that pressure." In related Dolphins news, veteran DE Jason Taylor could possibly be headed to one of the other Florida teams. NFL.com's Vic Carucci spoke to a source close to Taylor that revealed he wouldn't be surprised if Jacksonville or Tampa Bay dealt for the Pro Bowl pass rusher before the draft. |

| Dorsey or Long? | Despite the fact that Glenn Dorsey is the team's highest rated prospect on the board, there appears to be growing sentiment for Chris Long, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A number of other sources have also publicized the apparent conflict in the Rams' front office of whether Dorsey or Long should be the pick. |

Ryan enters picture | While the Falcons still seem to favor Dorsey, many analysts think that Boston College QB Matt Ryan could emerge if the Rams snatch Dorsey with the second choice. Ryan told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he would be very happy to land in Atlanta. If the Falcons miss out on Dorsey and do not trade down, Ryan might be the selection. |

Trading down? | Lane Kiffin's remarks that "more than ever, not in Raider fashion, we may trade back," has fueled speculation that the team is trying to move out of the fourth spot. Kiffin noted that the team only has five overall selections and that he would like to acquire some extra picks in exchange for moving down. If the Raiders stay at four, most analysts still believe they would be interested in taking Arkansas RB Darren McFadden. |

| Tackle looks likely | Unless Long falls to the Chiefs at No. 5, the team might lean toward one of the offensive tackles. What was once a strong unit for the team was depleted last season because of several retirements and the team needs to re-build up front in order to help out RB Larry Johnson and young QB Brodie Croyle. Ryan Clady or Branden Albert are the two most talked about choices. |

| Endless possibilities | There have been rumors that the Jets might be interested in trading up or trading down, but three names bear watching if New York stays put: McFadden, who reportedly said he thinks the Jets will draft him if he is available, Ryan and Ohio State DE Vernon Gholston. Ryan could be a long shot given that the team is trying to develop young QB Kellen Clemens. If the Jets decide Ryan is a franchise signal caller, it's possible they would pull the trigger and take the Boston College product. |

| Eyeing defense | The Patriots appear to be most interested in players in the defensive front seven. They would be thrilled if Gholston falls to them at No. 7, and NFL.com's Pat Kirwan has them trading up to No. 5 to insure they get him. If they are unable to grab Gholston, the Patriots have also been rumored to be looking at USC LB Keith Rivers or possibly Trojans DT Sedrick Ellis. Linebacker is more of a need spot, but the Patriots like stockpiling talented linemen and Ellis is one of the best. |

| Wanted: Ryan | The Ravens have not had a young franchise quarterback since moving to Baltimore and would love to grab Ryan with the eighth pick. There remains a strong chance, however, that Ryan will not be available and the team appears unlikely to trade up. If Ryan is gone, many analysts suspect the Ravens will select the best remaining offensive tackle, either Clady or Albert. |

| Ellis on the mind | Ellis continues to be the likely selection for the Bengals at No. 9. The team has struggled to find a standout interior presence on the defense and Ellis has the potential to solve those issues. If Ellis is not available (the Patriots and Saints are said to be interested), the Bengals might look to his former college teammate, Rivers. |

Moving on up? | The Saints are still interested in moving up in the draft, according to several sources. Dorsey would be their first choice if they managed to trade up high enough to take him, but they are also intrigued by Ellis. If they remain at No. 10, analysts seem to be in agreement that they would take a CB like Troy University's Leodis McKelvin to help a shaky secondary. |
