Draft Analysis:

  • 6'6" Height
  • 320LBS. Weight

Very little wasted motion as he gets to his run-blocking assignment. Keeps feet moving through contact. Has ability to get initial push in run game when he gets defender squared up. Uses his mass to engulf B-gap blitzers. Works hard to get across the face of his assignments when he's coming from back side.

Doesn't cave in his double-team blocks with power. Slow stepper. One-gappers can find space to penetrate against him. Struggles to snatch and remain engaged when dealing with athletic defensive tackles. Balance is an issue for him. Sometimes slow to process twists. Gets grabby on second level. Slow to second level.

Draft Projection

Bottom Line

Brown has experience at both tackle and guard, but he'll be limited to playing guard in the NFL. Brown doesn't show much potential to be a block-winner as a pro, but he has enough size and ability to get into a camp and compete for a backup spot.
