Analysis

Strengths

Very good size and thickness. Good athlete with fluid movement skills. Nice hand placement and positioning. Understands how to shield defenders from the ball and find soft spots in coverage. Can sidestep the first tackler and break arm tackles on short crossers and bubble screens. Productive, four-year starter. Competitive, emotional leader -- elevates the play of his teammates.

Weaknesses

Unpolished route runner with build-up speed -- has a tendency to drift and could do a better job working back to the ball. Average separation speed. Could stand to do a better job finishing blocks. Regularly matched up against Gulf South Conference competition.

Draft Projection

Free agent

Bottom Line

A strong, slot receiver with the toughness to work the middle of the field. Missed the 2011 season for academics and did not play as a senior.
