NFL Mock Draft: Imposing linemen rule top 10
-
Joeckel will play 10 years and he fills an obvious need; you replace Branden Albert with this Texas A&M product, and you become a better football team.
-
Boy, they need a pass rusher. (In fact, they might need three pass rushers.) They have some guys on the bench, but they need a No. 1 stud. This guy can rush the passer.
-
Here's your next Richard Seymour. Floyd is my favorite player in the draft. He has it all: size, strength and explosion.
-
You go to the 3-4 defense, you need a nose tackle.
-
When your general manager (Martin Mayhew) is the best cornerback in the building, what do you do? You draft a cornerback! Milliner's the best CB in this draft.
-
You're going from the 4-3 to the 3-4, you have Jabaal Sheard at one outside linebacker, but you need a second. How about Jarvis Jones (if he passes his physical)?
-
I'm going to put Levi Brown back at right tackle, where he belongs, and draft Fisher. All of a sudden, the Cardinals can protect the quarterback. (They don't have one, but they sure could protect one.)
-
Patterson becomes the No. 1 receiver in Buffalo, and Stevie Johnson moves to the slot -- all of a sudden, the Bills have a passing attack. (Though they still need a quarterback ...)
-
The Jets don't have an outside linebacker who started last year on the roster. I'm going to give them Moore, a guy I like more standing up as a pass rusher.
-
The Titans need a pass rusher, so I'll give them the best one available.
