Hamler has the frame, speed, and toughness to become an effective sub-package receiver in the NFL. Shows promise as a route-runner. Has good initial burst and doesn't waist time at the top of his stem but isn't as fluid moving laterally and is still developing his ability to find his spots against zone coverage. Will make the highlight tape grab at times but also struggles with bouts of drops on easier catches. Can be a vertical threat due to size/speed combo and leaping ability. Will hang tough over the middle but needs to improve as a blocker. Hamler's a mid-round prospect.

Does not have difference-making deep speed or elusiveness in the open-field. Shows some hip stiffness transitioning laterally as a route-runner. Could do a better job recognize seems in zone coverage. At times, drops the routine pass and isn't as comfortable going down for the catch.

Hamler has an impressive combination of size and speed. Explodes off the line, eats up cushions, and doesn't idle down at the top of his stem. Can get himself open against zone. Flashes the ability to pluck and snatch away from his frame. Displays good jump ball ability. Willing to go over the middle.
