Grant has the look of an NFL offensive tackle but lacks the athleticism, technique, and killer mentality to become a starter. Could serve as a backup right tackle. Natural bulk does not translate on the field. Pushed back by the bull rush and gets stood up in the running game because of poor pad level. Doesn't have the feet to stick with athletic pass rushers or provide value picking off linebackers at the second level. Has worked hard off the field to come back from multiple injuries but doesn't show much of a mean streak on it. Grant is a seventh-rounder or free agent.

Grant has the size needed for the next level. Can push edge rushers past the pocket. Flashes the ability to pin defenders inside for off tackle plays and toss sweeps. Keeps driving legs after initial contact and gets movement off the ball at times.

Plays too high. Vulnerable to the bull rush despite bulk. Lacks the athleticism to match-up with speed rushers and lacks the agility against the inside move. Frequently loses the low-man battle in the running game. Struggles to sustain blocks. Does not have the range to get to the second level or block in space. Awareness is not adequate. Needs to finish better. Has an injury history.
