Overview

Green was a two-year starter for the Rebels, as well as being a productive return specialist. He is an undersized perimeter defender with excellent athletic ability. His obvious lack of power hinders his ability to ward off blockers and be a consistent run defender. He is quicker than fast and has excellent hips to turn and stay in receiver's hip pocket. He runs well and but isn't elite to match up with top NFL receivers. He understands angles and route progressions but can be inconsistent in reacting quickly, which gets him out of position at times. Green is a good football player with size limitations who could contribute as a returner and in sub packages as a rookie.

Strengths

Green has excellent burst and lateral agility. Well-balanced player who sinks his hips to maintain speed in and out of breaks and sticks with receivers in man coverage. Shows the ability to anticipate routes in zone coverage. Reads runs fast and is not afraid to throw his body around.

Weaknesses

Green is short and too thin to make plays in run support at the next level and he struggles to disengage from blockers. Lacks the top end speed to recover when fooled by double moves or play action. Too small to make plays on balls in the air and is a liability in coverage in the red zone.
