Alabama's Dee Milliner, projected by all NFL.com experts to be the top cornerback taken in April's NFL draft, will have surgery on a torn labrum in his right shoulder after this weekend's NFL Scouting Combine, according to a source who has spoken with the player.
Milliner still will perform every drill at the combine except for the bench press, according to ESPN.com.
The cornerback suffered the injury during his final season at Alabama and played through it during the Crimson Tide's title run.
Milliner's surgery will take place before Alabama's pro day, which is scheduled for March 13.
