A first-team All-SEC selection in 2008, Masthay is capable of helping an NFL team as a punter, kickoff specialist and a holder for placement kicks. Finished first in the SEC (and fifth nationally) with an average of 45.3 yards per punt. Masthay is viewed an ascending talent with the raw tools to work with and the dedication to his craft to stick in the NFL. Had an arm span of 30 5/8 inches and a hand span of 9 1/2 inches at the combine.
