Analysis

Strengths

Good athleticism and fluidity. Plants and drives with urgeny and shows good closing burst. Flashes playmaking ability (returned four of 13 career INTs for TDs). Active and energetic. Durable four-year starter. Team captain with solid personal and football character.

Weaknesses

Undersized -- at a physical disadvantage vs. bigger receivers. Limited press and tackle strength. Eyes get stuck in the backfield -- vulnerable to quarterback manipulation and double moves. Average transitional quickness. Allows too big of a cushion. Intermittent run supporter.

Bottom Line

Short, lean-framed, battle-tested corner with physical limitations. Lacks exceptional traits, but is athletic, competes and flashes enough ball skills to compete for a reserve CB job.
