Overview

Bell is a top small college prospect that has the kind of physical traits to make you think he can develop into a player at the next level. He has good size and above average speed and has been a big time producer at his school. He has had three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons and managed to top 2,000 yards during his senior year. He runs with balance and body control and will break his share of tackles for yards after contact. He fights for yards and can move the pile on the goal line. He will need a lot of work on blocking techniques as well as route running for the next level but definitely has some tools to work with.

Analysis

Strengths

Bell has a really nice blend of size and speed. Was a highly productive player in college. Displays impressive balance on contact, will break tackles and pick up extra yards after contact. Does a good job of running behind his pads. Shows good vision behind the line.

Weaknesses

Bell was not challenged by a high level of competition in college. Needs some refinement with route running skills. Needs to run sharper routes in general. Fumbling has been an issue for Bell and ball security must be improved.
