Warren is versatile prospect that has experience at both cornerback and safety. He has a good combination of size and athletic ability but lacks the outstanding speed and burst to play out on an island in pure man coverage schemes. Warren is a physical perimeter defender that reroutes receivers off the line of scrimmage. He is a good reactor as patterns develop and understands leverage in the open field. He will bite on play fakes at times and he doesn?t have the great catch-up speed to get back into proper position. Warren is a good football player that may be best suited as a safety but given his size, instincts and athleticism, could also contribute at the cornerback position.

Warren possesses the size and athleticism coveted in defensive backs. He?s a tough, competitive player who can really help out in run support with his aggressiveness and sound open-field tackling. Warren?s a confident, instinctive performer who?s comfortable reacting to plays in front of him. Was productive in college. Versatility to play corner in some schemes and also safety is a plus.

One area of concern against the run is his inconsistency shedding blockers. Lacks the necessary pure speed to play on an island and turn and run with speedy receivers. Is susceptible to play action fakes. His lateral agility and burst are only adequate.
