Rogan has been an excellent player for the Vols over the past two seasons. He is a good athlete but doesn't always keep proper body positioning to maintain leverage. He is a competitive athlete who plays aggressively to the ball and is a physical defender for his size. He shows natural instincts to attack the ball at proper angles to make plays in the open field. He is a solid run-support defender and is a good open-field tackler. Rogan is a solid football player who isn't elite as a pass defender but has enough athleticism, instincts and toughness to contribute in sub packages and as a core special-teams defender.

Rogan is an athletic defender with good speed. Skilled open-field tackler who is not afraid to make a hit in run support. Highly competitive gamer with a nose for the football and the ball skills to get picks. Played in pro system under Monte Kiffin.

Does not possess the size to press bigger receivers at the next level. Takes extra steps in transition and struggles in man coverage. Hips are a bit stiff, and his lateral range is limited. Loses leverage with inconsistent body position and technique.
